Play It Forward

Play It Forward’s mission is to ensure equal access to Music M.A.G.I.C. We believe — and extensive research shows — learning a musical instrument fosters Mental Wellness, Agility, Grit, Independence, and Community in children — and that’s MAGIC. 

Barriers like poverty, racism, and historic marginalization prevent many children from receiving instrumental instruction. At Play It Forward, we overcome these challenges by providing access to instruments, instruction, and inspiring opportunities to students in need across the Pacific Northwest.

PIF is offering free small group guitar and piano classes at Dr. King E.S.  during the school day on Tuesday and Thursday.
